To initiate and promote experimentation and innovativeness in education in collaboration with other bodies like the Central Board of Secondary Education and the National Council of Educational Research and Training etc.

Mission Statement of Vidyalaya In the next 5 years, i.e. up to 2022 the Vidyalaya will improve the listening, learning and writing skill in Hindi up to 100% among non-hindi speaking families nearby school slums to get rid of BHASA VIBHED and to promote National Integrity.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Chittaranjan came into its existence in the year 1986. with a view to providing uniform and high quality of education to the wards of the employees of Chittaranjan Locomotive Works and other Central Government Employees. The sprawling campus of the Vidyalaya is located amidst the lush of green and the bounties of nature. The Vidyalaya has 38 rooms. Besides there are some specific rooms as well.
