Kendriya Vidyalaya Chittaranjan came into its existence in the year 1986. with a view to providing uniform and high quality of education to the wards of the employees of Chittaranjan Locomotive Works and other Central Government Employees. The sprawling campus of the Vidyalaya is located amidst the lush of green and the bounties of nature. The Vidyalaya has 38 rooms. Besides there are some specific rooms as well. It accommodates nearly 1000 students studying from class I to xii with science and humanities at +2 levels.
